Disneymania!

Our annual trip to Disneyland was a blast this year. With the kids a bit older, the dynamics changed a bit, but fun was had by all. Hunter is already a Disney pro.. and was excited that Hayley was tall enough for all of the big rides this year. Often Brent was off with the older kids doing what big kids do... because I am an old fuddy duddy this year.....I got queasy from several rides. Poor me!
What a cute walk away shot! On the way to Tower of Terror.
But what I may have lacked in excitement, I more than made up for in fun with Emmy. She truly was an easy traveler, and absolutely loved everything. After every ride her comment was...'Lets go again!!!'
I think this look says it all.................Em had a very specific smile for all of her photos. We were full of tricks, trying to get a natural grin. Oh well... cutie she is! We were very successful getting some fun shots with characters. I think we ran into Pooh bear, Woody, Mickey Mouse, Jasmine and Aladdin, and Pluto. It was a blast, and Emmy was very cute with them all. She wasn't scared at all, and hugged everyone of them.Pirates were out singing in New Orleans Square, and noticed Emmy singing along, so he took a little time to sing to her, 'Yo ho Yo ho a pirates life for me.' She loved it.Waiting for Winnie the Pooh. These two girls are the sweetest things! I had so much fun with them. We went on this ride over and over.Halloween is such a blast, not just because of Trick-or-Treating, but because of the amazing decorations. Posing for pictures was an easy feat, you could practically be anywhere, and get an awesome shot.Emmy isn't the only thing that looks sweet....This little piggy...My very fave was the Haunted mansion. Disney changes it out to 'The Nightmare before Christmas'. Jack Skellington everywhere. The fireworks were narrated by him, his picture was everywhere, it was great.Emmy loved the whole process, and kept up pretty dang good!Look at these crazy bugs we found in the grass. At the end of the day.........Plum Tuckered!
More later.......

Fall fun!

We took a little time this conference weekend, to get out of Cedar's Wind. Brent's sister had been to a new 'spin' park in St. George. It was a beautiful place, and all of the toys were gravity related, and the kids had to work to make them move/work. It was so fun to watch them figure things out.

Emmy had a great time climbing up to this slide, and the climb was more like rock climbing. It was a little bit of a stretch for her, but worth it! She is very proud of herself. Here Hunter and cousin Trevor, are spinning in this crazy contraption. They were giggling and having a blast. I was nauseated just watching them. Ick!Here Emmy is trying it out herself, but skinny minnie, Brent had to help her turn it.Hayley was running around like crazy. I love the beautiful smile she has. You can see her radiate happiness!
There was the silliest little 'cup' chair, and everyone had to try it out. Once you started spinning, it was almost impossible to stop.

Here Cousin Malynn is letting me snap one of her, what a cutie. She is a darling girl. Emmy a go-go!Crazy Hayley! There was also a climbing wall, and we all loved to try it. We even made it up. And I'm not just talking of the kiddies.
Trevor is holed-up in a cubby, almost.....to the top!Hayley is so easy and fun to photograph. What a beaut! My spidey-senses were tingling here.... okay, I wasn't that far off the ground....cropping is a great accessory. After Hunter and I climbed, there seemed to be a celestial glow, as we threw out our signs! And a quick swing for all....nice and easy. Thanks Shauna for the fun afternoon! At the end of the day, I caught such a cute picture of Hunter and Hayley. I'm sure they were worn out, so they couldn't fight. But.....I guess I was hoping they just liked each other. Ahh...a moment from the sibling rivalry.Of course I can't forget this little cheeser!!Hope you had a wonderful conference weekend too!
