Practice, Practice

My kiddies are such good sports, as I yet again dragged them out to do pictures. I promise, I will conquer this! ( I hope) Here we go.....

A textbook Emmy pout..
But a beautiful smile...
Playful.....
Silly...
Showing off... and yes, her dress really is this bright! So spunky, just like her!

And artistic...

Simple...

Hayley Starr is becoming such a beautiful girl, and growing up way too fast for her mom!
Sweet...
Lovely...

And Silly Hunter. He is so proud of his stinking cute little hamster, 'Widget'. (And I mean stinky!)
Isn't Widget quite the poser?
Hunt wasn't as interested in modeling for me, but I still got this cute shot of him.
Thanks to my sweet kids, for letting me bug them.....again!

And for my post favorite. I swear Emmy is giving me the low-down.
Fun!

Spring has sprung?

It has seemed that winter will never end here, and we were so happy to escape to Dixie for some warmer weather. My sister Leslie was here for Easter break, and the cousins had a great time playing. We played at parks, Leslie took the whole crew skiing while I was at work, (Very brave)
and went on a excursion to Crystal mountain, and to see some petroglyphs.
This is at crystal mountain, where some unusual crystal like rock is found in large veins. It appears almost like an Ice flow. The kids were excited to bring a souvenir or two home with them. It really doesn't show how much light it reflects.
Here are the troublesome trio, Braeden, Aubrey and Emmy. They were quite proud of their finds. Way to go!
Here is Hayley and her little Indiana Jones self.
There really were some cool pictures....
Here is Hunter in another precarious position. Good thing he is holding up well!!

We spent Saturday at Red Cliffs with Brent's family, eating, hiking, and scouting for Easter eggs.
The weather was perfect, and we had a wonderful time together.
The race is on. Everyone got to look for Easter eggs, and treats.
Hayley looks eggstatic (hee hee!) She absolutely loved hunting, wandering and hiking. What a girl!
Emmy is showing Aunt Shauna and Grandpa here findings of the day.

My very favorite picture of the day. Emmy and cousin Malynn, starting off on the walk together. Emmy just loves to follow Malynn, and tries to do whatever she can to keep up!
What a beautiful girl, she is such a sweetie and a wonderful model!
One darling girl, and a beautiful young woman.
What a handsome boy. He was having so much fun with his cousins!
Here Hunter is showing one of his battle bruises on his knee. Poor baby!

As everyone knows, Emmy sure has her breakdown moments, and this was one. She did not want us to tell her to stand on Pride rock. Goofy girl!

I was also able to persuade some of the family to pose for me...so I can practice. Okay, I begged.
Mitch and Gaona, I just love how happy and in love they are.
Brent's beautiful sisters, April and Shauna. Oh, and cute little Maggie.
Mitch and April.

Emmy cheesing it with Grandma and Grandpa.
Grandma and all of the Grand-daughters. Malynn, Hayley and Emmy.

And my favorite Blog picture is this one of Emmy........
....Dang girl.......put that away before you hurt someone. Love the do!

Hope you had a great Easter too!

Emmy Faith

Our sweetest little Emmy is turning three this week. It seems unbelievable, and we have enjoyed her so much. She is our little firecracker, and keeps us all on our toes. She is very articulate, silly, and also likes to be in-charge.

I hope to get lighting better for my next try..........but dang, if she isn't a doll.

She is so beautiful.

She practiced her happy....
........and was sad, ever as delightful?
I just love the bright vivid colors.

It is true, she has a bit of naughty in her!

And a bit of sweet too....
The big star!Mom loves her cuddles.

We love you so very much Emmy Faith. Happy Birthday!

Completely cute!

One of Hayley's gifts this Christmas, was new bedding set. And so brought on the idea to let her update her room.
So after some faux finishing, one wall is a chocolate brown suede, and the others are striped in pinks.(Yes, Brent did the taping, I did the painting) Her bedding is pink and brown, and the room has turned out so well!Could the Lamp match the comforter any better? Jeez, what a shopper I am turning out to be!

This darling brown polka-dot chair is the perfect place for her to curl up and read, listen to music, and just have her own space. We had the monogram made for her.

Girly, Girly, Gorgeous!
These last few months have been so very busy for our family. I began full time work, while a co-worker was on maternity leave, so November and December were a blur with Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.

Christmas is always special, and we had a wonderful time this year. We were lucky to have Grandma-Reese come up and spend the day with us too!I have to say that Stockings are my favorite to watch the kids rummage through. To Emmy, it was endless candy-filled fun.

Hunt wanted this Phiton necklace forever, he was so excited to get one.

Hayley amid the presents. This year, each of the kids had their own wrapping paper, so it was fun to watch them separate all of the gifts.

Grandma opening toys for Emmy. Toys now are impossible to open now aren't they?

Santa also hit the grown-ups this year. Brent is proudly showing off his new IPOD Touch. Lucky Guy!

Emmy couldn't wait to try out her new bath toy, this grin is what the gifts are about. Love it!

Short and sweet posting. Hope everyone had a great holiday season, and a wonderful New Year.

New Mooning......

Premier's are always fun, no matter what. Especially a midnight movie. A few of us snuck down and waited for New moon to be unveiled, and had a blast doing it.

Ginger and I leaving for the night. We left at 9:00, and were lucky to have a friend already down waiting since 6:00. So we had some pretty rockin' seats. They had some really fun props to stand in front of. Here we are at Jacob Blacks' house. How fun is this?
Me and my sweet friend Jennie. Wahoo! Also Ginger and Kristina. What a blast!I'd better not forget the clock tower in Italy. Yawzah! Just before the lights went down, and the whole place went crazy.!!Too fun! Thanks for the awesome night girls! Can't wait to do it again!
